Namco’s Rockin’ Bowl-O-Rama shown in Gadgets For Guys morning show segment

Ah, morning TV news shows. Usually when they are discussing video games, it’s something about how they are harmful to your kids but on occasion, they just show you some games without all the “video-games-are-the-end-of-civilization” hysteria. Such was the case last Friday on CBS’ The Early Show where they had a brief segment on what to get guys for the holidays and surprisingly, Namco’s Rockin’ Bowl-O-Rama topped the list. They didn’t label it as an arcade machine though, just as the “Best High-End Videogame System”, which I find strange as I would think that it would be far cooler to own an arcade game that is found in out-of-home venues as opposed to a high-end game system but maybe that’s just me. Either way a little coverage is better than zero coverage.
