One game I have really been wanting to see in action from JAMMA would be Sega’s new Heat Up Hockey and fortunately we have some videos of the game now.  Enjoy

Are you certain there’s no force feedback in the paddles?

  2. Shaggy Says:

After watching it again, I was wrong, there is a real puck. I am pretty excited for this game, if it doesn’t cost a bajillion dollars I’ll get one for my arcade.

  3. ECM Says:

Yeah, looks like fun if it doesn’t give your customers a seizure ;)

  4. Neil Brimelow Says:

I think it’s neat, but it’s also supreme overkill for air hockey. It would have been cooler if they had implemented “power ups” or bonus multipliers for bank shots off of the walls.

It’s def. going to cost at least $30,000.

Arcanoids(sp) on the projected playerscape! is it so difficult?

    • Shaggy Says:

I just barely checked this out and wow. I don’t see why it has to cost that much but by all appearances we are going to start seeing this stuff pop up all the time now.

i agree with neil, it seems to be way too much for air hockey. i could barely follow the puck in the video, but it looks pretty wild.

  7. arcads4ever Says:

I personally would want to see this in person rather than on a video as its not the same thing filming a screen and sega new game in particular. I hope it gets a world release.

  8. Shaggy Says:

One thing that would probably help is if they made the puck fluorescent and then install a black light to light it up.

But as you say, it might be a lot easier to follow in person than on the video.
