Gone Fishing From Tsunami
Here’s my first post and let me start by saying that I am quite excited to be a part of the best arcade related blog out there. I’m not just saying that either, since I found out about Arcade Heroes I have visited it everyday since many other gaming sites out there don’t seem to get it when it comes to arcades. Check out my profile for an idea of my history with arcades.
I’ll use this post to bring attention to a little know arcade game that may interest people that enjoy hitting flying fish with bats. Gone Fishing claims to be the number one restaurant and bar arcade game that places you in the paws of a polar bear catching fish by smacking them with a bat. You then see how far you can get the fish from your position.
While this seems reminiscent to flash based games like Bowman or Penguin Launcher, at least it offers a type of game that would certainly work well at the bar.It probably won’t find it’s way into many standalone arcades but if you ever are stopping by Chuck E. Cheese’s, check it out and let us know if it’s worth trying out.

Actually, believe it or not, they have two of these Gone Fishing games at my local Dave & Buster’s! This game is so random (a polar bear whacking fish with a bat? Yeah.) that I love it. And I set an apparently unbeatable record on one of them because when I went back the other night, my record was still there. Oh, how proud I am! I am the ultimate fish-whacking polar bear! ;oD

What a fun game…I played it at Incredibles Pizza and the kids were all mad at me because I would not stop playing. I was looking for a downloadable version.

I don’t know of any downloadable version, although I think I have seen games with a similar premise on flash game sites

I was looking for the downloadable version of this very addictive game. I played it at Dave and Busters here locally and it was awesome.

Great game.. my high score is 2173. longest shot 233.2 it is so popular at my bar, the lowest score right now is 2011. we reset scores every monday.

Love Gone Fishing. Machine at my bar Limelight in Nashville I have all top 10 scores from 2184 to 2145. Going to break 2200 soon. My friend offered me 10,000 dollars if I get 2250.

omg! theres this place in hamilton called turtle jacks and i go and play that game and in on the high score list like 9 times i came in 10th,9th,8th,7th,6th,5th,4th,3rd,2nd and my dads friends son jeff is #1 and if i beet him when i go there next then the great hol houser name will be in every single place up there =]

Highest score for me was 2218. I even took a pic because no one believes it..haha..highest long shot is 232.8. I swear ive hit the number so many times i didnt know thay it could go further than that so good job on the 234 score

I really wish I could find this on-line to play..before my hubby became my hubby we used to play this game all the time…now we dont go out much. We would really love to play this at home..is there any on-line versions or for xbox????????

Ben Dews Club House in Tacoma, WA has had this game for about 6 months now and everyone is playing it! we have weekly competition for high score! There’s also a very identical game called ‘Gone Bowling” where the Polar bear is throwing the bal in a lane with 10 Penquins.

Hi, I think your site might be having browser
compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Chrome, it looks fine
