That’s what I presumed as well but I have not been able to find out yet. There’s a chance it could be Lindbergh but the Ringwide should be able to handle it OK.

well I didn’t say it used the ringwide I just presumed that it did since sega are trying to get more people to use the ringwide instead of the naomi

Thanks for the details guys. I didn’t know that Tetris Giant or TGM4 used Ringwide (I tried to find out previously to no avail). I’ll update the post accordingly.

The MBAA: Current Code site simply states that it will be the series’ move from Naomi to Ringwide hardware. It’s actually the third game we know that will use Ringwide, since Tetris Grandmaster 4 will also be using it.

The Tekken “Global Championship” tournament is being held on PS3/360, but the participants can get special items and costumes for their card for use on the arcade version. There were also be arcade cabinets with the game on free play at the event.

The winner of the “Japan Round” at this event will play against one representative from North America, Europe, and Asia (excluding Japan) to determine the “world champ”.
